This is the showdown between us and the antagonist. Despite their superior technology, we defeat them because our world is dynamic, and has a certain tenacity that their people lack.
The realization we have about these universal characteristics of life is that without greed, we cannot truly want. Without ignorance, we cannot truly learn, and without an ultimate lack of control, we cannot be ready for anything.
We are victorious, their civilization perishes, and we acquire their technology.
lyrics
How are you here
When all other worlds had fallen
by their own hand
yet you still survive
My world, what could it mean to you?
What drew you to our troubled land?
You’re not here to save me I’m sure
Gone are the flaws that would lead us all to ruin
You care not for our vanity
can’t you see we’re already doomed
As they break through our defense
it is clear our way of life is done
